Ronnie Lamar Adams passed away on July 20, 2025, in Opelika, Alabama, at the age of 44. Born on November 12, 1980, in Columbus, Georgia, Ronnie brought warmth and laughter to those around him throughout his life.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Carolyn Ogin, and stepfather, Allan; his sister, Connie Cayce, and her husband Eric; and his nephew, Brilee Huddle. Best Friends Ken Franklin wife Heather, Eric Baird, He also leaves behind a cherished circle of aunts and uncles—John (Lisa), Wayne (Samantha), Phillip, and Clara (Alan)— as well as extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Steve Adams; stepmother Linda Adams; grandmother Ruth Adams; grandparents, Master Sergeant Dewey H. Lane, Sr. and Betty Lane; and his aunt Debbie Lane.

A man of simple joys and deep connections, Ronnie found happiness in fishing trips that brought peace to his soul and time spent with friends that filled his days with laughter. His love for music was ever-present, often providing the soundtrack to moments shared with loved ones. He also had a special fondness for Disney movies.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate caregivers who supported Ronnie during his illness: UAB Cancer Center, Spencer Cancer Center, Compass Hospice staff, Bethany House, and especially Nurse Denise for her exceptional care and kindness.
