Karen Joan Spaeth
August 10, 1942 – October 23, 2025
Karen Spaeth, of Equality, Alabama passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, at the age of 83.
Karen was born in Batavia, NY. On August 10,1942, to the late David and Arlene Spaeth. She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Arlene Spaeth; brothers, Robert Spaeth and Dennis Spaeth; nephew, Stephen Sims. She is survived by her nieces, Stephanie Daniels (Donny), Jennifer Nix (Brian), Brandi Myrick (Richard); and nephew, Robby Spaeth (Mary Frances); great nephews Barrett Spaeth, Boak Sims, and Trip Sims; great niece, Hope Sims; sister-in-laws, Susan Spaeth and Vera Spaeth; great nieces and nephews, Carlee Sides, Allyson Daniels, Amelia and Gavriel Nix, and Walt and Grayson Myrick. Karen also had many special friends but one the family would like to specially thank is Whit and Laura Moorer. Karen was immensely loved and will be greatly missed by all that came in contact with her. Karen was always a joyful and Godly woman who’s smile could brighten any room. Her warmth and faith touched everyone that knew her. Special Thanks to Chapman Healthcare in Alexander City, AL. for caring for her so well.

The family will have a memorial service scheduled for November 25, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Santuck Baptist Church in Wetumpka, AL.
