Danny Wayne Tarver

Danny Wayne Tarver, born on November 21, 1981, in Houston, Texas, will be remembered for his loving, humorous, and caring nature, especially once he got to know someone. His sudden passing on April 8, 2024, has left a void in the hearts of many.

Danny was predeceased by his mother, Rose Marie Johnson and several siblings, Lisa, Letha, Margaret, Raymond, and Grover Tarver, Jr. He is survived by his devoted wife, Ashley Tarver; his bonus children, Rylee, Addilyn, and Lincoln, who brought immense joy to his life. Additionally, Danny leaves behind his cherished dog, Trouble; step-sisters, Amber Adair and Angela Stutes; a close-knit sister by choice, Brandi Daniel; grandmother, affectionately known as Memaw and aunts, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

A man of many talents, Danny enjoyed building and was known for his hard work. He loved to travel and enjoyed doing new exciting things. He enjoyed the casinos and had a running joke with his wife that money was his girlfriend. He enjoyed playing with his dog, Trouble, who he thought of as a son. He enjoyed seeing all kids happy and putting a smile on their face. His greatest pleasure was seeing his wife smile, a testament to his loving and supportive nature. She was his “Heaven on Earth” as he said. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and had a special love for animals. Danny’s unique preference for enjoying cake soaked in milk and his knack for making people laugh will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

In honor of Danny’s life and in lieu of a traditional service, the family has requested donations to help cover unforeseen expenses. A fundraising campaign has been established on SpotFund in Danny’s honor to assist with these needs. Danny’s legacy of kindness, humor, and generosity will undoubtedly live on through the memories he has left behind and the ones that continue to celebrate his life.
