Deletha (Dee) Jean Davis was called to be with our Heavenly Father on May 6, 2022. Dee was born to James Lester Davis and Agnes Virginia Johnson Davis in Elba, Alabama, on March 2, 1954. Dee was the owner and operator of the Highway 80 Barn Restaurant. She was in her element when she was cooking or creating floral arrangements. Her love for her family and friends was very apparent. She taught us all life lessons that we will never forget. She was truly the life of the party and there was never a dull moment around her. She is preceded in death by her father, James Lester Davis, her mother, Agnes Virginia Johnson Davis, and her husband, Joseph Paul Parsons. She is survived by her children: son Kevin Wayne Hazellief (Michelle) of Largo, Florida, daughter Amanda Jo Jacobs (Louis) of Opelika, Alabama, and son Wade Campbell Spooner (Jennifer) of Opelika, Alabama; her grandchildren: Wyatt Hazellief (Jamie), Savanna Pate (Colton), Tanner Jacobs (Emmalyne), Wade Spooner Jr., Abigail Spooner; her great-grandchildren: Bentley, Parker, Cash, and Laken; her siblings: Jim Davis (Joyce), Jerry Davis (Mona), Richard Davis (Angie), and Rhonda Caudill; and her lifelong sister of the heart Anne Suit. There will be a Celebration of Life held at Society Hill Methodist Church, Tuesday May 10 at 11 am.
