Eugene (Gene) Morin 69, passed away on May 11, 2020 at East Alabama Medical Center. Eugene was born December 10, 1950 in Salem, MA. He was the son of the late Albert R. and Dorothy A. Morin

Eugene proudly served our country as a member of the United States Army during Vietnam. Eugene received National Defense Service Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, one overseas, Bar Vietnam Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal W/V DVD Sharp Shooter (45), Vietnam Campaign Metal W/60 DVD Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal W/OKC, Expert Sharp Shooter m-14 Rifle, 90mm 106mm.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Robin Pierre and husband Max of Lanett AL; sons, Kenneth Neenan of Paducah KY and Eugene (Buster) Morin of Lynn, MA; daughter, Misty Priest and her Husband Bill of Salisbury, MA; brother, Randy Morin and wife Elizabeth of Newport Richey, FL; sisters, Della Morin Joyce and Husband Allen of Peabody, MA and Venetia (Vikki) Richard and Husband, Fred of Salisbury, MA; granddaughters, Amy DePietro of Peabody MA, Ashley Friburg and Fiancé David Holloway of Lanett, AL; Grandsons, Thomas (T.J.) DePietro of Saugus, MA, Alexander Stoney of Salem, MA and Kenneth Neenan Jr. of Paducah KY; great-granddaughters, Gracie Payne, Jenna Friburg, and Alaina Holloway; great-grandson, Vinny Friburg; several nieces, nephews, and other family members; and his beloved dog, Charo. He attended the Lanett Church of the Nazarene.

Eugene loved going fishing, going on long drives, and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed shopping at the Fuller Center Reuse Store where his Daughter, Robin, worked. He was extremely proud of the work she did. He was also very well known in the City of Lanett for just riding around in his wheelchair being friendly to everyone he would see. He was loved by everyone that knew him.
