Mrs. Helen Massey Cantrell made her journey to heaven on October 14, 2020.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband Hayward C. Massey of 29 years and her parents, Elsie Lellon and Otis Lee Gilmore.  She is survived by her husband, Eston “Bob” Cantrell of 32 years; daughter, Kimberly Jackson Ennis; son, Donald H. Massey (Stella); grandchildren, Gregory J. Jackson (Tiffany), Philip W. Jackson (Mallory), Erica Stoddard, Donald Massey, Jr. (Melissa), and Christopher Massey (Kaylie);  great-grandchildren Mason Jackson, Charlotte Jackson, William Jackson, Taylor Stoddard, Brooklyn Stoddard, Cayden Massey, Kennedy Massey, Jaxon Parker, and Hadlie Massey; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.

She was born on May 14, 1937 in Autauga County Alabama and was a graduate of Marbury High school.  She was a long-time member of Camp Hill Baptist Church in Camp Hill, AL.

Helen’s greatest love was her family and she was adored by her two children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed but we rejoice in the fact that we will all be reunited on that wonderful day when the Lord calls us home.

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
