Jacob Ray Stevens
February 18, 1994 – March 10, 2023
Jacob passed away on March 10, 2023 at his home in Smiths Station, AL at 7:45 p.m. He was born on February 18, 1994, in Phenix City, AL at Cobb Memorial Hospital. He was 29 years old.
Jacob attended Smiths Station and Russell County High School with the students from the class of 2012. Jacob was a homebody and a momma’s boy for sure. He loved to go fishing and couldn’t wait to get back home to fry up the fish he caught. He enjoyed the outdoors and making bonfires out in the backyard.
Jacob is survived by his loving parents, Gary L. Stevens and Bobbi C. Stevens; sister, Rachel E. Lawson; his nephew, Mason M. Miller who he shared a special and close bond with; brothers, Micah H. Stevens, and Nathaniel R. Stevens; sister, Erica D. Stevens; as well as his grandparents, Wayne and Margie Dunson.
Jacob lost his baby brother, Caleb E. Stevens on June 12, 2015 and now is reunited with him in Heaven.
Anyone who knew Jacob, AKA Jake, was guaranteed some much needed laughter. Jacob was loved by many and he loved everyone with his big ol heart. He will truly be missed.
A memorial service will be held April 8, 2023, from noon until 10 p.m. at Smiths Station Ruritan Club, located at 2000 Co Road 430 Smiths Station, AL 36877.
