Judy Loughry
November 8, 1952 – March 15, 2024
Judy Loughry passed away on March 15, 2024 in Phenix City, Alabama with her sister and daughter by her side and her devoted, 13 year old dachshund, Coco on her lap. She was 71 years old.
She was born on November 8, 1952, to the late Eugene and Dorathy Hale. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis Loughry and her brother, Larry Lee Hale.
She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Carr (Brandon) and their sons, Cameron, Weston, and Jackson; her son, Doyle Campbell (Angela); her sister, Becky Aderhold (Richard) and their children, Eugene, Jenny, and Rosanne; 5 nieces; 2 nephews; 2 great-nieces; and many other loving friends and family members. She was immensely loved and will be greatly missed.
She graduated from high school in 1971 in Popular Bluff, Missouri. She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church in Phenix City, Alabama. She loved crocheting, traveling, and playing dominos with her cousins on Friday nights. She was a giver, and she would buy items to give them away. Her last crocheted blanket was given to a Arabella Nursing Home in Phenix City. She loved to relax by watching television and coloring pictures.
A Celebration of Life service for Judy will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Lakewood Baptist Church located at 4011 Lakewood Dr, Phenix City, AL 36867at 1:00 p.m. ET with Reverend Charles Keown officiating.
