Allan Jeffrey Sroka, 69, of Smiths Station, AL, passed away on April 26, 2024. He was born on October 3,1954, in Chicago, Illinois. Allan proudly served in the Marine Corps for 4 years.
Throughout his life, Allan dedicated himself to his work. He spent the majority of his career at Boral Bricks and also worked as a subcontracted truck driver for Ryder in Phenix City, AL.
Allan was known for his sense of humor, caring nature, and determination. He was a loving and proud individual, always putting his family first. He enjoyed cooking and eating good Polish food, as well as watching Da Bears and old westerns.
Allan is survived by his daughters Amy and Samantha(Jakobe and Baby K), son, John (Madelynn, grandpup Ryder), sister, Barbara(John) Dawson, many nieces and nephews, and ex-wife/caregiver, Carrie Sroka. He was preceded in death by his father John Sroka, mother Violet Sroka, sisters Linda Kloiber and Jean Sroka, and daughter Melissa.
A graveside service will be held at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery on May 2, 2024, at 1:30 PM EST, followed by a gathering for family and friends at Grace Freewill Baptist Church. Any flowers or donations can be received at this time.
Allan will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
