Cecil Furman Harris

April 8, 1941– June 26, 2021

Mr. Cecil Furman Harris passed on June 26, 2021 in Dadeville, Alabama. He was 80 years old.

Cecil was born on April 8, 1941 to the late, Furman Green and Frances Ellison Harris. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Judy B. Harris; grandparents, Bertha Vann and Jasper Ellison; son-in-law, David Long.

He is survived by his children, Mark Harris (Kellie), Regina Long, Michelle Harris Pearson, Shayne Harris (Jackie); grandchildren, Haydin Harris, Paige Davis, Dylan Baker (Lucia), Caitlin Navarre (Travis), Taylor Pearson, Tyler Harris (Kaitlyn), Chase Harris, Logan Brant (Devin), Brock Harris, Alivia Harris, Maddison Long; great-grandchildren, Ayden Davis, Reagan Navarre, Lainey Navarre; several half brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; 1 step-sons, and 3 step-grandchildren.

Cecil was an avid fisherman, and he loved all sports with a special love for LSU Football. He loved to cook and serve the Lord. He especially enjoyed time with his friends Tommy Ray, Elmer Yates, Kenney D. and Mr. Hebbie, and all of his Uniroyal Family.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. CT on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 with Brother Joe Richardson officiating. All family and friends are welcome to share following the service.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to Alabama Sherriff Girls Ranch in Tallapoosa County in honor of Cecil Harris to help with the recent tragedy they suffered.
