Christina Scott

March 12, 1972 - August 1, 2026

On August 1, 2026 Christina Scott completed her journey here on earth at the age of 54. Christina was born March 12, 1972 to Brenda and James Scott in Blakely, Georgia. She resided most recently in Opelika, Alabama, however she lived and worked several years in Dothan Alabama where she was experienced in customer service, retail management, food service and caretaker.

Christina is survived by her siblings: Rebecca Campbell, Lonnie Dale Hamby Jr., Jessica Scott, Michelle Tipper, and Juan Tipper.

Also surviving are Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews:

Joanie Rymarz, Shannon Webster, Terena Jordi, Robert Sheehan, Brian Williams,

Arena Adkins, Sylvia Brightwell, Logan Brightwell, Caleb Brightwell, Lainey Coons,

Anthony Eden and host of other family members and including a special dear and best friend Julie Rustic.

Christina was a nurturing, caring, thoughtful and giving person, who believed in Christ Jesus and prayed frequently to God for not only herself but others as well. She had a selfless way and put many others' needs ahead of her own; making her truly one of a kind who will be missed greatly by family and friends. She loved to cook, particularly bake cakes and often cooked and fed friends at holidays, something she was fantastic at. She also was a "jack of all trades" and would be first to help anyone with home repair, to sewing a hem, whatever was needed. She lived to help others.

Christina is at peace now and reunited with her heavenly family.

A Celebration of her life and release of her ashes is to be followed and will be announced in the coming weeks.
