David Wayne Brooks

September 14, 1958 – May 21, 2026

Mr. David Wayne Brooks passed away on May 21, 2026 at the age of 67.

He was born in Wetumpka, Alabama to the late, Rosie and Truman Brooks. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Pam Brooks.

He is survived by his sons, Chad (Cathy) Brooks and Kent Brooks; grandsons, Shawn and Colby Brooks; sisters, Carol (Jeff) Nash, Wanda Sides, and Sheila (Tracy) Douglass; 9 nieces and nephews, and numerous other loving family members and friends.

David loved watching Alabama football and softball. In his younger years he worked in construction and enjoyed being on Lake Martin, especially skiing and camping.

David will be greatly missed by all who loved and cared about him.
