Edwin R. Long, 91, passed away on July 28, 2019. A memorial

service for Edwin will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at

Alabama Funeral Homes & Centers of Camp Hill, Alabama. Visitation will take

place an hour prior to the memorial service. Reverend Terry Herron will be

officiating.

Edwin was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Alice

Long, and his sister, Florence Long Bennett of Atlanta, Georgia.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Frances L. Long;

children, David Ross Long (Margaret), Eddie Lane Long, Allison Long Fleming (Jim),

and Ellen Long Tedesco (Roger); grandchildren, Matthew Long, Phillip Long, Sam

Long, Brandon Fleming, Adam Fleming, David Fleming, Emily Tedesco, Elizabeth

Tedesco. Great-Grandchildren, Jonathan and Maddy Grace Fleming; and numerous

other family members.

He was an avid fisherman and will by missed dearly by all

who knew him.
