Obituary

Harold Tubbs, Jr. passed away on December 28, 2020 at his residence in Beulah at the age of 72.  A formal service will not be held at this time, however, a celebration of life is being planned for the spring of 2021 with family and friends.
He was born on July 5, 1948 to the late Harold Edmond Tubbs and Peggy Ann Lassiter.  He is also preceded in death by his brother Doug Hughes.
Harold is survived by his wife of 44 years, Judy Deas Tubbs; children, Kristi Sanford (Scott), Christen Tubbs (Miranda), and Kelly Tubbs (Jessica); seven grandchildren who he loved to the ends of the earth; Jasmine Tubbs, Logan Sanford, Cameron Tubbs, Hailey Tubbs, Aubree McInnis, McKinley Tubbs, and Cooper McInnis; brother Steve (Toni), sisters: Gail, Linda, and Carolyn (Kevin), sister-in-law Charlotte, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Harold- Big H, Grandaddy,Tubby- Tubbs, was a man that was hard to forget if you ever met him and always made an impact in someone's life.  He coached Babe Ruth baseball for sixteen years in Dadeville and soccer for eight years in Auburn.  Harold was dedicated to making an impact on kids' lives.  His legacy will be carried on by those who knew him best and by the impressions he left with those that crossed his path.  He was best known for his ability to tell a story.
Harold graduated from Auburn University in 1981 with a degree in forestry and loved the Auburn Tigers.
