John Robert Medley, Sr.

April 8, 1943 – January 18, 2022

John passed from his earthly life to his heavenly home January 18, 2022 in Montgomery, AL. John leaves behind a loving family and many friends.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda Morgan Medley; his son, John Robert Medley, Jr. (Robbie) of Birmingham; his daughter, Kimberly Elaine Hammonds (Kim) of Titus, AL and husband Jeff; and special friend Kathy Medley of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren Mackenzie Lewis (Liston), William Brady Medley (Jordan), Hollis Medley (Hannah), Katherine Medley, Dylan M. Hammonds (Meagan), and Abigail Conn; 6 great grandchildren; his brother, Jerry (Tammie) and sister, Sarah Lewis (Steve).

John was preceded in death by his parents John Brady Medley and Merle Baldwin Medley; sisters Ann Medley and Jean White.

Services for John will be at Vaughn Forest Church in Montgomery, AL on Saturday,

January 22 ^nd with visitation from 1 to 1:50 and service to follow. Burial will follow at Kaylor Cemetery.
