Jonathan "Jon" Sebastian Garrett    April 21, 1976 – May 10, 2019  Jonathan "Jon" Sebastian Garrett, age 43, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 10th, surrounded by family and friends.   He was born in Milledgeville, GA.  Jon grew up in Auburn and graduated AHS in 1994.  He attended Auburn University and ultimately completed his BS at LSU.  He continued his studies in Massage Therapy and became an LMT. He practiced massage therapy in Denham Springs, LA; Athens, GA, and Auburn/Opelika Area, AL. He grew up enjoying soccer, swimming, camping, scuba diving, snow skiing, and learning to play the guitar.  He was a free spirit and gentle soul who enjoyed and loved all God's creations.  He enjoyed playing guitar and drumming.  He was an artist of music, poetry, and drawing.  He never met a stranger and always had a hug to share.  He was a healer who helped and touched the lives and hearts of many.  He is survived by his beautiful daughter, Maia Raven; her mother, Beth White; his mother, Anne Garrett; father, Steven (Karen) Garrett; sister, Greta (John) Benefield; nephew, Asheton Benefield; and numerous family members and special friends.  There is no service planned at this time.  A celebration of his life may be scheduled at a later date.
