Joyce Diane Boatwright

August 3, 1947 – November 2, 2021

Joyce Diane Boatwright passed away November 2, 2021 at the age of 74.

She was born on August 3, 1947 in Birmingham, Al to the late Alfonso Johnson and Flora Evans Johnson. She is preceded in death by her step sister, Janice Breault.

She is survived by her husband, James Willard Boatwright; her daughter, Virginia Boatwright and sons, Greg and Marc Boatwright; siblings: Joe, Charles, Kay, Mary, and Denise.

She was dearly loved and greatly missed. She was an amazing wife, mother, and friend. She made an impact on everyone she met and would help people in anyway she could. She was the feistiest most strong-willed person you will have ever met! She loved making things for people, Alabama football, her family and furbabies.

There will be a celebration of life ceremony at Wilsonville Baptist Church at 2 p.m. on November the 13th, 2021.
