Larry Coleman Earnest

Larry Earnest passed away on July 30, 2026, in Valley, Alabama. He was 72 years old.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Earnest and Estelle Cottle; wife, Jackie Earnest; son, Lee Earnest; brothers, Fred and Randy Earnest.

He is survived by his daughters, Shannon Janney, Amanda Godfrey, Traci Mapp (Allen); son Bubba Earnest (Lindsay), Chuck Earnest, Ronald Sorrells (Grace); grandchildren, Dani Eamest, Aveary Earnest, Andrew Janney, Zachary Janney, Hunter Earnest (Ricki), Kris Earnest, Ocean Earnest, Stormy Earnest, Kameron Earnest, Karson Godfrey, Alyssa Mapp, Trevor Mapp, Tyler Mapp, and Kylie Sorrells; great-grandchildren, Eydeth and Jordan Earnest; brother, Trent Cottle (Barbara); and many other loving friends and family members.

Larry loved to spend time fishing and camping, and he enjoyed going to Alabama concerts.

He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed. He is finally reunited with his beloved wife whom he lost in a house fire 3 years ago.
