Laura Ann Gibson of Dadeville, AL, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023. She was 54 years old.
Laura was born on July 31, 1968 in Ravenna, Ohio to Alan and Mildred (White) Bishop. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mildred (White) Bishop and her brother, Donald R. Bishop.
She is survived by her father and stepmother, Alan and Helen Bishop of Edinburg, Ohio; daughter, Katrina Gibson of Dadeville, Alabama; siblings, Robert Bishop of Alliance, Ohio, John Bishop (Cecilia) of Dadeville, Alabama, Ronald Bishop of Newton Falls, Ohio, and Thomas Bishop of Edinburg, Ohio; her best friend, Lisa Williams; many loving nieces and nephews; and her 3 affectionate cats.
Laura was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She loved her daughter Katrina with all her heart. She also loved her many pets, who were her companions. She loved her farmhouse where she kept an immaculate yard. She also enjoyed Coco Wheats and maple cream sticks from her hometown and was a life-long fan of Rick Springfield.
A Celebration of life service will be held on July 24, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Atwater Cemetery in Atwater, Ohio with Pastor Jennifer Dorn officiating.
