Linda Faye Knight

December 24, 1942 – October 16, 2026

Linda Faye Knight of Wadley, Alabama, passed away at Bethany House in Auburn on October 16, 2026. She was 83 years old.

She was born on December 24, 1942, in Langdale to the late, Fred Raymond and Josephine Irene Hodnett Knight.

She is survived by her sons, Robert and Thomas Rogers; sister, Sue Knight Lee (Bill), a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her beloved rescue dog, Goldie.

Linda was a member of Mountain Springs Baptist Church. She loved biology and chemistry and worked in many labs across the country. She also lived in the Yukon and panned for gold. She was a true pioneer woman that knew how to live off the land that God created. She loved the peaceful days sitting by the river drinking coffee, reading a good book and watching the water flow. She will be greatly missed.
