Rachel Baker, 77, passed away peacefully at her home on June 9, 2019. A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. at Alabama Funeral Homes and Cremation Centers located at 21927 Hwy 280 Camp Hill, Alabama. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. in the chapel at Alabama Funeral Homes and Cremation Centers with Brother Ronnie Jennings officiating. Burial will follow in Fellowship Baptist Cemetery in Buttston, Alabama.

She was daughter to the late Dorothy and Clayton Kimbrel. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Margaret Ann Baker; and brothers, Bobby Kimbrel, and Jack Kimbrel.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Doug "PawPaw" Baker; children, Brian Baker (Theresa), Diane Hill (Roger), Ginny White (Ronnie), Kim Berry (Farryl), and Michael Baker; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one on the way; siblings, Jean Andrews, Speedy Kimbrel (Judy); Joyce Coker (Billy), Joan Ellington (Sandy), Dean Valdes (Paul); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.

She was a member of New Covenant Church. She loved her family and spending time with them. She especially loved spending time with her grand and great-grand babies, and she was a devoted wife for her beloved husband of 61 years.
