Mary Helen Locke

1946 – 2021

Mary Helen Locke of Selma, Alabama passed away at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama on September 4, 2021 at the age of 74. She was a resident at the Epworth House in Selma, Alabama. She was born on December 27, 1946 in Montgomery, Alabama.

She is survived by her brothers, Anthony Gonzalas Cantu, Ramond Gonzalas Cantu Jr, and Frank Gonzalas Cantu; children, Alethia Huffman (John), Johnathan Locke (Cinthia), and Joshua Locke (Jennifer); grandchildren, Ashley Johnson, J.W. Johnson (Brittny), Kelly Locke, and Maggie Locke; Great-grandchildren, Jordan, Elizabeth, and Kaleb; other loving family members.

Mary loved helping others by sacrificing herself to help others in need.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Alabama Funeral Homes and Cremation Centers located at 21927 US-280 Camp Hill, Alabama 36850. Paster John Schmidt will be officiating.
