On Monday, May 24, 2021 Melissa Lourie Ann Riley passed away in her home at the age of 53. She was born on October 16, 1967 in Phenix City, Alabama to Wallace and Gaynell Riley. She had four children, Ashley, Brandy, Cody, and Paige and 7 grandchildren.

Lourie Ann was a compassionate and caring woman who enjoyed animals. She was a great cook who loved her friends and family and was loyal to a fault. Her joy and laughter will be deeply missed.

Lourie Ann was preceded in death by her father, Wallace Riley. She is survived by her mother, Gaynell, siblings, Kara and Avery, children and grandchildren. A memorial visitation will be held at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home at 3738 US-431 in Phenix City, AL on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 6-8 pm eastern. Memorial donations in memory of Lourie Ann can be made to the Russell County Phenix City Animal Shelter .
