Ollie Brooks passed away in Montgomery, Alabama on May 14, 2024 at the age of 73.
She was born in Cincinnati, OH on November 3, 1950, to the late, Mae Sue Jackson and Ollie Brooks. She is also preceded in death by her grandson, Lil' Rondell; brother, Thomas; and sister, Phyllis.
She is survived by her son, Rondell Brooks (Tina) of Pensacola, FL; son, Phillip Brooks (Myeshia) of Wetumpka, AL; grandchildren, Delron, Sierra, Dakota, Camden, Abigail, Jordan, Phillip "P2", Trinity, Aiden, and Brantley; many loving great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Yolanda, Angel, Phyozell, Quint, Anthony, Luther, Thomas, Kevin, Alexis, Lee; siblings, Helen and Tony; and extended family, including the Jackson Family and the Murph family.
Ollie Mae Brooks' Going Home Celebration will be held on May 25, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church located at 866 Congress Avenue Lincoln Heights, OH 45215 with an eulogy delivered by Pastor James Ira Fitzgerald III.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Gentiva Hospice Care, Crowne Health of Montgomery, and friends and family for their love, support, and care. Donations or flower requests can be arranged for Friendship Missionary Baptist Church or to directed to her sons, Phillip Brooks and/or Rondell Brooks.
