Mrs. Patricia "Patty" Franklin, age 57, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at her home surrounded by family. She was born on February 27th, 1966, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and a doting Nanna. She loved her family. Her hobbies were sunbathing, coloring, and taking care of her beloved pets. She met no stranger and had a heart of gold. She was a member of Sunset Heights Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Preceded in death by both parents Edward and Dorothy Keafer and her sisters Dorothy "Dottie" Bryan, Peggy Ann Smith. Patty is survived by her three children Randy (Laura) Keafer, Tina (Jason) Duncan, and Samantha (Jimmy) Blaylock. Her grandchildren Skyelar and Issaac Blaylock, Casey Studdard, Ronald Duncan, Anthony, Selena, and Noah Keafer, and Irma Hall. Her great grandchildren Nova and Zayden Giegler. Her siblings Rosemary (Brad) Wheeler, Edward (Cindy) Keafer, and Kim (Charles) Linder and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 2:00 PM EST at West End Baptist Church, 2809 55th Street W. Valley, AL 36854. The Reverend Brad Wheeler will officiate. The family will receive friends and family at 1:00 PM.
