Shadow Montona gained her wings on Aug 29, 2020. She was born to Martin and Kathryn Deford on December 8, 1941 in Nashville, Tennessee.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Tina Smith, and one granddaughter, Brandy McLemore.

She left so much love in this world by being survived by, daughter, Kathryn Mayes; son, Paige Summers, daughters, Teresa Henning, Barbara Hillis, Roxanne Dunn, and Robin Manucci; 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchilren.

She was loved dearly and will live in our hearts forever.

A public visitation will be held to honor and celebrate Shadow Montona from 1-3 pm CST on Wednesday, September 2 ^nd in the parlor of Alabama Funeral Homes & Cremation Centers located at 21927 Highway 280 in Camp Hill, Alabama.
