Theris Michael "Mike" Wilbanks

12/22/1958 – 04/27/2021

Mike Wilbanks passed at his residence on April 27, 2021 at the age of 62. A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Mike on Friday, April 30 ^th at Alabama Funeral Homes & Cremation Centers at 5:00 p.m. CT with Caleb Doster officiating.

Mike was born in Montgomery, Alabama to the late William Theris and Mavis Moncrief Wilbanks. He was educated through the Alexander City School System and was a 1977 graduate of Benjamin Russell High School. Mike was previously employed in the tire sales, automotive, trucking, and pest control industries. He enjoyed collecting old glass bottles and antique implements, slow dancing with his wife to 70's music on the back porch, was an avid turkey hunter and outdoorsman, loved to read, was a jokester who loved to laugh, and… ROLL TIDE.

He was predeceased by his parents and his in-laws, Bobby and Nellie Greene. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Nell Wilbanks; sons, Neil Wilbanks of Auburn and Robbin Wilbanks of Alexander City; step-daughters, Meredith (Caleb) Doster of Auburn and Robin (Kody) Baker of Alexander City; grandchildren, Cadence, Ellie, Selah, Jane, John Conner, and Lydia Doster of Auburn and Presley Tate, Luna, and Lukas Baker of Alexander City; sister-in-law, Donna (Lee) Foshee; brother, Frank Wilbanks; several nieces, nephews, and life-long friends.
