Torrey Alvin Davis was born October 21, 1971 to Billy Alvin Davis and Sondra Jean Craven in the Decatur General Hospital. He departed this earth on the Fourth of July 2021 at his mother's home in Athens Alabama.

Torrey is survived by his daughter Kennedy Noelle Davis, his mother, Sondra Cargile, his sisters Tammy Bernier and Kelli Bailey, and his brothers Dan Cargile, Brandon, Barry, and Bryon Goff. He is  preceded in death by his father Billy Davis, his grandparents, James and Jean Craven, Bill and Paula Davis, and Richard and Ruby Cargile, His uncles,  Jimmy Craven, David and Charles Davis, his aunts Brenda Ellerby, Donna Craven, Jewel Cargile, Cricket Rutledge, and Diane Davis, and his cousins Don Williamson, Blake and Drake Stevens.

He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Throughout his life Torrey worked in various food and drink establishments as a server, bartender, and manager. He owned a coffee shop in Madison for a short time. He lived in Alabama most of his life except for a few sabbaticals in Texas, Alaska, and Tennessee.
