Vicky Lynn Healy, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 70. Her warmth, generosity, and love for family and friends will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Daniel J. Healy; her stepchildren, James Healy (Bess) and Michael Healy (Jenelle); nine grandchildren, Sidney (Johnnie) Aguirre, Madeline Healy, Kylyn Healy (Chris Diaz), Turner Healy, Joseph Mejia, Mateo Mejia, Isaac Mejia, Luke Mejia, Annabella Mejia; and one great-grandchild, Rylie Grace Aguirre. Vicky is also survived by her sisters, Sandy Pearson (Bob) and Linda Wheaton; her special friend, Mary Mott; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other cherished family members and friends.
Vicky was a proud and dedicated retiree of the U.S. Army, having served as an Air Traffic Controller for over 20 years and attaining the rank of First Sergeant. Her commitment to service extended beyond her military career—she was a member of the Methodist Church and the VFW Post 7807. She was also an avid quilter and golfer.
Vicky’s memory will live on through the countless lives she touched. A service and burial were held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Tallapoosa County Memory Gardens, located at 21927 US Hwy 280, Camp Hill, AL.
