On September 1 ^st at 9 p.m. Walter Marcellus Boyett Jr. lost his battle with Covid and went to join our Heavenly Father, finally free from pain and wheelchair confinement. He was 95 years and 7 months old and at home, on Smith Ave, Prattville, AL when he passed. He was happily married to Helen Inez Spivey for 74 years. His death preceded hers by 7 days. He is survived by a son, two daughters, 9  grand children,  20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, sister, son and grandchild. Walter was a WWII Navy veteran of both the European and Pacific theaters. He was a master mechanic, a civil service refueling maintenance foreman, Supervisor of Maxwell motor pool and later an astute business owner.

A memorial service will be held Saturday September 18 , 2 p.m. at Prattmont Baptist Church.
