William "Buddy" Bennette Cason of Opelika, Alabama passed away on October 25, 2022 in Auburn at the age 80.
He was born on May 24, 1942 in Rochelle, Georgia to the late, Bennett B. and Lilly M. Bennett Cason.
He was a member of Providence Baptist Church and founding member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Cason; daughter, Alicia Yates; granddaughter, Kimber Jones (Mark) and Kaitlin Yates; sister-in-law, Carol Waid (Frank); and nephew, Matthew Waid.
A memorial service will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Opelika, Alabama on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. CT. Dr. Chris Duncan and Dr. Rusty Sowell will be officiating.
