William Eugene (Gene) Laster passed away peacefully at home at the age of 75 on March 20th 2022. He was a cherished father, grand father, great grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Gene enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, camping and hanging out with his companion dog Mack.

He is survived by children Michelle Broadwater (Nick), Dovie Bowen (Bobby) and John Mclean. Brother Hugh Laster. Grandchildren Will Laster (Erica), Quinton Broadwater, Kristin Creed, Maria Hess (Andrew), Josh Bowen (Hollie), Hailey Anderson, Liza Bellflower, Aaron McLean.  Dear friend June Ledbetter. Great grandchildren Gabriel Laster and Gracelyn Hess.

He was preceded in death by parents Doris and James Laster, son James Mclean, 3 sisters and 1 brother.

Celebration of life will be held at his home on April 2nd 2022 at 1pm .
