William Rufus Wilkerson

March 31, 1955 – December 12, 2020

William Wilkerson passed away on December 12, 2020 at the age of 65. A graveside service and interment of cremated remains will be held on Thursday, December 17th at 3:00 p.m. CT in Tallapoosa County Memory Gardens.

William is survived by his wife of 29 years, Ambra Wilkerson; children, Kayla Wilkerson (Jeremy Caron) and Joseph Ryan Wilkerson (Nicole); grandchild, Jeremy Kane Caron; 2 neices, Jessica Deason and Jana Beasley (Tucker); sister-in-law, Traci Deason; and many loving cousins, friends, and other family members.

William was a volunteer firefighter and EMT for many years. He loved supporting his children's hobbies and extra-curricular activities which included band, softball, baseball, and many more. He was a loving father and husband, and he will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
