Tabitha Selwyn Chance (Tabitha Marie Selwyn) was born to Tina Marie Selwyn on February 18, 1991. She was raised in Mobile, Alabama with her mother and step father, John Mott. Her beautiful, wild life came to an end on April 6, 2024 after a brave fight against cancer, when she went home to Heaven to join her late husband, Phillip Wayne Chance Jr.; her big sister,
Tuesdy Rae; and many friends and family.
Tabitha was a devoted mother to her 3 boys, Jacob, Tyler and Jaxon. A beloved daughter, friend and sister to her siblings, Tiffanee Wild (Kameron Wild), Tuesdy Gaines, Tyler Selwyn, Jacklyn Johnson, Rachel Luckie, CJ and Jeremiah Jones.
Tabitha was a golden soul, she cared for all who came into her life and would be there for you within seconds if you needed her. She loved fiercely. She was hilarious and full of life, loved adventures, painting, and good friends. Tabitha is survived by her mother, children, siblings, many nephews, nieces, friends and her fiancé, Jonathan Gentry. We are all comforted knowing that she is at peace and reunited with her many loved ones who left this world before her.
Tabitha did not like the idea of a funeral. She asked that we all join together and celebrate her life the way she did. The family is holding a public celebration on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 3pm. Please join us and share laughs and stories of this sweet soul that will be dearly missed. The celebration will be held at 96 Whorton Dr, Jacksons’ Gap, AL, 36861.
