Juliet “Judy” Jacqueline Mitchell passed away peacefully on October 19, 2022 at the age of 82. She was a resident of Millbrook, Alabama but lovingly called Placencia, Belize her home for nearly 20 years. She was a graduate of Holtville High School and Huntingdon College. She retired from the State of Alabama and the Alabama Reference Laboratory. She was a member of Frazer Methodist Church.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Mitchell; first husband and father of her children, Jimmy Karl Hull; son, Jimmy “Nicky” Karl (Fran) Hull II; parents James Edwin and Mamie B Graff; and sister, Joan (Larry) Johnson.

She is survived by her three sons, James Edwin (Linda) Hull, Jonathon H. Hull, and Joseph Hull; daughter, Karen (Michael) Larson; her grandchildren, Jimmy (Terrie) Karl Hull III, Jonathon P. Hull, Kayla (Collier) McConnell, and Kendal Hull; her great-grandchildren, Kaylie, Avery, Chloe, and Caroline; sister, Jane (Billy) Brooks; and five nieces, Beth (Randy) Parker, Gina Zeiger, Amy (John) Wooten, Andrea (Jeff) Jones, and Jamie (DeWayne) Mims.

Judy never met a stranger, she could find common ground with anyone she came in contact with. Her one of a kind personality was larger than life. She had a genuine appreciation for the world around her. Judy could often be found walking barefoot in the grass, admiring the trees, or with a paint brush in her hand. To honor her wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. We invite you to please privately celebrate Judy’s life in your own ways. We know she will be with all of us in spirit. The immediate family with gather at a later date.
